Our final Summer Connect Event for this year will take place on Sunday, August 16, at Lake Erie Metropark (off Jefferson in Brownstown). We'll meet at 5 pm at the Cattail Picnic Shelter for dinner, fellowship, and a volleyball tournament! There's a sand volleyball court near the shelter for us to use. Whether you're a volleyball pro or absolute newbie, you're invited to play! We're hoping to be able to field a few different teams, with the winners receiving an award. Participation in volleyball is NOT required to attend the connect event, but if you are able to play, join us! Sign-up and make sure to indicate if you'd like to play volleyball so we can assign teams ahead of time. Bring lawn chairs and outside games. Vehicle entry fee: $10.
