Trevor Hogg
Associate Pastor
Trevor has served as Associate Pastor at WBC since December 2021. He grew up in South America, with his parents serving as missionaries in both Ecuador and Peru. It was there that he came to faith in Christ at the age of 8. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where God first gave him the aspiration to full-time Christian ministry.
In August 2017, Trevor moved to Kansas City, MO to pursue an M. Div at the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During his time there, he served as an intern and ministry assistant at Summit Woods Baptist Church, where he met his wife, Maria. They were married in May 2019 and Trevor graduated with his M. Div one year later. His time at MBTS and involvement in the local church grew his love for the local church and commitment to expositional preaching.
Trevor and Maria moved up to Michigan in December 2021 after Trevor accepted the call to be Associate Pastor at WBC. Their first son, Judson, is a native Michigander, born in June 2022. They're expecting another baby boy in the summer of 2024!
Outside of the office, you’re likely to find Trevor playing a board game, doing a crossword, or watching sports (soccer to skiing and everything in between).
